Well, I think people always need to compare, but I googled the painter and don't really see it. At least they don't tell you you're boring, I always hear that. But it's challenging...Good luck with your work, sadly I have to suspend my activity for 1,5 month or so...

sorry, i didn't mean to compare you to anyone. kawasaki was the first thing that came to my mind, that's all. i agree, your style is your style ( and i haven't said nothing more), it's jut the fact that now your works are softer, simpler, you are using far more delicate colours, playing with outlines, (which i like), in compare with your ink works, of course. ok, you changed the media, but it changed the whole work. wood has itself warm colour, feels more natural and that has changed. as long as you are satisfied with your works, keep on paintingt. i still do like your art and that won't change

sorry for my lame english, i don't want to be misunderstand...

btw i also prefer amy sol works. she's a very good watcher, far more expressive

well i think it's also because of the technique you are using now. kawasaki is well known, esp her paintings on wood panels. i love your older works, your latest looks like a kind of adaptation this technique for your style. i guess you are looking for something new, i know how hard it can be. keep on working, but don't leave everything behind. your style is so characteristic, so adorable- don't waste it

Yeah, this album rocks, a few songs especially, the rest is so-so, but it's still great.
I'm not a big fan of Futureheads but I'm delighted that British band is coming to this dead city.
